Chalk Ridge - No trip to Alpine would be complete without a hike up to Chalk Ridge lookout. There is more than one way to get there but this path starts near the cabin and crosses the forest service fence at the gate. The hike is about a half mile long and has a 250 foot elevation climb. Take your time and enjoy the view!
